Destino Liderazgo

“Destino Liderazgois a program designed to boost the professional development of young women through mentoring and specialized training. This initiative connects participants with business leaders, creating an environment of learning and mutual support that will enable them to enhance their skills and advance their careers into leadership roles.

What it is

“Destino Liderazgo program, promoted by ClosinGap and 50&50 GL, aims to promote and accelerate the professional development of young women at the beginning of their careers. This initiative is part of a collaborative effort between ClosinGap’s partner companies and seeks to provide more than 50 young women with the opportunity to build a support network and learn from women leaders who will guide them on their path to leadership.

Objective

The program is designed to provide these young professionals with the tools, knowledge and opportunities necessary to enhance their leadership and advance their careers. Through mentoring, training and networking activities, “Destino Liderazgo” fosters the creation of valuable relationships that will allow these women to develop their full potential in a mutually supportive environment.

I "Destino Liderazgo" Edition

In September 2024, we celebrated the launch of the first edition of “Destino Liderazgo at the headquarters of the Ortega-Marañón Foundation with more than 100 participants. The event began with a warm welcome from Lucía Sala Silveira, CEO of the foundation, followed by interventions from Marieta Jiménez, president of ClosinGap, and Gloria Lomana, founder and president of 50&50 GL, who shared their vision on the importance of female leadership. Our general manager, Lucila García Méndez, presented the purpose of this initiative: to help young women achieve their personal and professional best. In addition, Federico Buyolo, cultural director of the Ortega-Marañón Foundation, highlighted the commitment to the development of young talent.

During the day, participants had the opportunity to get to know each other and exchange experiences, aspirations and expectations. Through these interactions, bonds were created that will serve as a basis for the personal and professional growth of each of the young women who are part of this program. This inaugural event marked the beginning of an exciting path to leadership for more than 100 women in a supportive and collaborative environment.
