CG Summit 2019
At the first ClosinGap Economic Equality Summit, ClosinGap presented an ambitious plan comprised of 15 voluntary agreements to advance the elimination of the gender gap.
ClosinGap continues its work in identifying women’s potential. Based on the analyses conducted to date, we are moving to action through debate and reflection on measures that will help close these gaps, as well as through the adoption of voluntary agreements based on evidence gathered from reports and the results of knowledge sharing and collaboration among member companies.
The ClosinGap Summit, held to mark its first anniversary, featured the participation of senior executives from the companies that are part of this initiative, as well as high-level speakers and leading women such as philosopher Amelia Valcárcel, biologist María Blasco, and racing driver Laia Sanz. The event analyzed future challenges related to gender equality and demonstrated the potential of female talent as a driving force for economic and social progress.
