ClosinGap held its 6th Economic Equality Summit at Telefónica’s corporate headquarters in Madrid. Under the theme “A Look to the Future,” this sixth edition created a forum for discussion focused on youth talent, entrepreneurship, and technology as key drivers for advancing gender equality. Special emphasis was placed on the economic impact of inequality on the country.

As part of the 6th Economic Equality Summit, the fifth annual ClosinGap Awards were presented. These awards recognize individuals who, through their professional and personal achievements, have actively contributed to closing the gender gap. The award recipients were recognized for their commitment and efforts in promoting equal opportunities, demonstrating that progress toward a more equitable society is both possible and necessary.
