CG Summit 2025
Under the motto “With gender equality as our compass, we accelerate change,” ClosinGap held its 7th Economic Equality Summit at the corporate headquarters of its partner, Mahou San Miguel.
The seventh edition of this event positioned equality as the driving force behind development and change in the economy and society. During the day, participants reflected on how gender equality should guide decision-making, the importance of its presence in the global context, and how the gender gap is present in conversations about employment, education, pensions, health, work-life balance, and digitalization.
As in previous years, the sixth ClosinGap Awards were presented, recognizing individuals who, through their professional and personal lives, contribute to closing the gender gap. This year’s award recipients are:
- Career Achievement Award linked to innovation in equal opportunities to Natalia Rodríguez, founder and CEO of Saturno Labs.
- Award for professional career linked to social transformation to Marina Subirats, emeritus academic of Sociology at the University of Barcelona.
- Award for professional career linked to the generation of economic knowledge to Carolina Sánchez-Páramo, Director of Operational Policy, Department of Policy and Operational Support of the World Bank.
