Presentation of the report on the gap in rural areas
ClosinGap, in collaboration with AFI and led by CaixaBank, presented the report “Opportunity Cost of the Gender Gap in Rural Areas.” The report reveals that job insecurity for women is more pronounced in rural areas and that the opportunity cost in this sector amounts to €38.5 billion, equivalent to 3.1% of Spain’s 2019 GDP.
