Presentación IV Índice ClosinGap

On February 29th, ClosinGap, in collaboration with PwC, presented the fourth edition of the ClosinGap Index. Gender parity in Spain improved slightly in 2023, setting 2062 as the target date for closing the gender gap if progress continues at the pace of recent years. This figure indicates small advances compared to the results of a year ago, but shows a certain slowdown in the positive trend due to a decline in some indicators.

The event began with a welcome address by host Manuel Martín, Partner in charge of markets at PwC. Following this, Lucila García, CEO of ClosinGap, spoke, and the main data from the Index were presented by Ana Polanco, Chair of the ClosinGap Advisory Board, Head of Europe GVAP Operations and Government & Public Affairs Healthcare at Merck, and Anna Merino, Director of Strategy & Economics at PwC. The presentation featured Fátima Báñez, president of the CEOE Foundation; Eduardo Petrossi, CEO of Mahou San Miguel; and Antonio Huertas, president of Mapfre, who participated in a roundtable discussion moderated by Gloria Lomana. The event concluded with remarks from Marieta Jiménez, president of ClosinGap and European president of Merck Healthcare.

Additionally, several members of the Board of Directors were present: Eugenio Martínez, deputy CEO of Kreab Worldwide; Beatriz Corredor, president of Redeia; and Carmen Muñoz, director of People and Organization at Repsol.
